DIG Appraisals is a specialist appraisal firm based in New York. We provide USPAP-compliant valuations of entertainment memorabilia, music archives, fine art, and related cultural property. This website is digappraisals.com. You can contact us at info@digappraisals.com.
This is a static informational website. We do not operate user accounts, subscription services, or e-commerce. The data we collect is limited to two categories.
Category 01
If you accept cookies, Google Analytics collects anonymised data about your visit: pages viewed, time on site, device and browser type, and approximate geographic location (country/city level). This data does not identify you personally. It is used solely to understand how the site is used and to improve its content.
Category 02
If you submit an enquiry via the contact page, we receive your name, email address, and the content of your message. This information is used only to respond to your enquiry and is not stored in any marketing database or shared with third parties.
We do not run advertising campaigns, retargeting pixels, or ad network tracking. We do not collect payment information. We do not build user profiles or track individuals across other websites. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.
This site uses a small number of cookies and browser storage entries, described below.
A first-party entry stored in your browser's localStorage. Records whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies. Not a cookie in the technical sense — it does not leave your browser and is never transmitted to any server. It persists until you clear your browser data.
Set only if you accept cookies. Used by Google Analytics to distinguish visitors and sessions. The _ga cookie persists for 2 years; session cookies expire when you close your browser. Google's data processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We have enabled IP anonymisation, meaning your full IP address is never stored.
We also use Ahrefs Analytics, which is a cookieless analytics service. It does not set any cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. No consent is required for this service.
Google Analytics. Analytics data is processed by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. If you are located in the European Economic Area, data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Google operates under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Google Fonts. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests a font, Google may log the request including your IP address. See Google Fonts privacy FAQ.
Propstore. This site contains links to propstore.com. If you follow those links, Propstore's own privacy policy applies. DIG Appraisals has no visibility into or control over data collected by Propstore.
Depending on your location, you may have rights under the GDPR (European Union), UK GDPR, or CCPA (California). These include the right to know what personal data we hold about you, the right to request its deletion, and the right to opt out of data collection.
In practice, the only personal data we are likely to hold about you is any message you sent via our contact form. To request access to or deletion of that data, email us at info@digappraisals.com and we will respond within 30 days.
To withdraw analytics consent at any time, click "Decline" in the cookie banner. If the banner is no longer visible, clear your browser's local storage for this site (browser settings → privacy → site data) and reload the page.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We do not operate a mailing list, so we cannot notify you directly — but given the simplicity of this site's data practices, significant changes are unlikely.
